no school for the whole of this week, not even make up lessons cuz greg's mom passed after a long illness. my condolences greg.
stayed home tried to come up with some chord patterns but it gets frustrating the 1st 2 bars come smooth and easy and perfect then the next 2 just wont fit anyway u make it. like theres 1 or 2 notes in those bars that are just "turn off" notes. so how some of them can always write a wicked combo is beyond me. guess the theory plays a big part. i wonder if they do some ripping off which can be a good idea at times, just that u dont make it too similar. there can be loadsa things u can take.
anyways i saw the grammys and ive never really heard of corrine bailey rae tbh and i really dig her style after seeing that show she put on with john mayer and john legend, her live voice in particular. so im checking her stuffs out right now so i might do some rip off for a start lol. she does sound unique in a good way. and of cos, theres the police reunion which is worth a mention.
